How we can help:

Now...

All services are free and confidential

24 Hour Hot-Line -  Our counselors are available by phone, even after business hours.  Regardless of the time, if there is an important need, we want to help. (800) 395-Help

Free Pregnancy Tests - We offer free and confidential pregnancy tests for women who feel they might be pregnant.

Counseling and Support - We are here for women in crisis due to pregnancy. The center has people and resources available. All counseling is strictly confidential.  The CPC is not merely "another agency;" we want to provide friendship as well as professional assistance.

Prenatal Guidance - The CPC has excellent literature on pregnancy-related topics for our clients.  When prenatal guidance is called four, our counselors are here to help you.

Information on Community Resources and Government Assistance - Locating available assistance and dealing with bureaucracies an be overwhelming -  particularly in the midst of a crisis.  The CPC has staff who are familiar with the various agencies and resources for pregnant women and can help in the process of obtaining this outside assistance.

Maternity Clothes - Friends of the CPC have donated maternity clothes for women in need of them.

Referral for Medical Care - We maintain a list of medical doctors, obstetricians and other kinds of physicians interested in helping women with crisis pregnancies.

And Later On...

Ongoing Personal Counseling - Often a crisis pregnancy is only the immediate problem.  There may be other needs which require further counseling.  We want to help in these areas if we can.

Referral for Adoption - Every woman's situation is unique.  Adoption may or may not be the right option.  We can help a woman clarify her choices.  If she chooses to adopt, we can direct her to an agency with which she will be comfortable.

Baby Furnishing & Clothes - We have a supply of baby clothes and furniture available to our clients.

Postnatal Guidance - A woman may want to discuss problems and fears that may have arisen after the birth of the baby.  We are here to help her work them out.

Support Groups -  Women who would like to be emotionally supported after the birth of the baby may be part of a support group with other women in similar circumstances.

Planning Mother and Baby's Future - The responsibilities of parenting usually require major adjustments of life-style and finances.  The transition is often difficult.  We can help mothers prepare for these profound changes.

Help for the Woman Who Has Had an Abortion -  women who have had an abortion or abortions may feel shame, guilt, depression, sorrow, or anger.  Since 1988 our trained counseling staff has been ministering to women suffering abortion's aftermath.  We can help you, too.
