Get Involved

Do you have a heart for Life?  Are you wondering how you or your church might make a contribution that will make a difference? Here are some ideas:

Pray for the Crisis Pregnancy Center!  Please pray for the Lord’s protection, provision and wisdom for the CPC, its staff and volunteers.  Also pray for our clients; that they would be blessed with courage and the Lord’s peace as they receive information and make important decisions.

Donate Items for Mother and Baby
– We gladly accept new and gently used items including: clothing for mother and baby, baby furniture, car seats, strollers and other items. Please contact the center to arrange for a drop-off of donation items.

Host a Baby Shower for the CPC –  Would your church like to host a baby shower on behalf of the center? It’s a wonderful way to stock our shelves with wonderful blessings that can help women to make a choice for Life.

Become a Church/Group Contact Person
– If you have a heart for Life and would like to help your church or group get involved in Life Ministries becoming a Church/Group Contact is a wonderful place to start!  The CPC would contact you about upcoming events, new classes and services for you to make available to your church/group.

Baby Bottle Drive Fundraising Program
– The CPC annually conducts a Baby Bottle Drive fundraiser, which is a fun way for churches to get involved for Life. Baby bottles are delivered to the church with literature about the services we offer at the Center, church members take the bottles home, fill them with spare change and return them to the church and the center picks them up.  It’s a great community service/outreach project!  In addition to fundraising, a BBD is a great way to share information about the CPC and the services we offer.

Financial Support – It would be wonderful if your family or church would add the CPC to their monthly giving or missions giving/budget.  The CPC is a non-profit Christian organization and does not generate any income from its services.  It is only because of our regular local support that we can keep our doors open and the assistance provided available. On-line giving has never been more secure or easier!  Click on the above “Donate” button for fast, secure, easy donations, saving time and postage while blessing the CPC!

GoodSearch for the CPC! Surf, shop and support the CPC all that the same time!  Two ways to help: First, make GoodSearch your default search engine; please add the Crisis Pregnancy Center, Unionville CT as your designated charity and the CPC will receive one penny per search you make! “Choose Life CT” License Plate – Help to Support the CPC!   In September, 2003, Connecticut became the 9th state in the nation — and the first in the Northeast — to have the “Choose Life” Plate on the road. The money raised by the Connecticut “Choose Life” Plate will help promote and support adoption as a loving choice for an unwanted pregnancy or newborn in the State of Connecticut.  Please add “CPC” to the application under Organization ID Number and the CPC, Unionville will receive a donation from the Children’s First Foundation! Please visit www.Fund-Adoption.org and order your Choose Life plate today!

Become a Volunteer – There are also many ways to get involved without being a CPC Counselor or spending time in the center.  Perhaps you have the gift of administration or you might be good with computers? Maybe you would be willing to work on mailings or sort baby clothing? The ways in which you can bless the center and make a difference for Life are endless. Contact the CPC today to see how you might become a blessing to this vital ministry.

The CPC, Inc. Mission Statement

The CPC, embodied in its staff and volunteers, is committed to supporting women in crisis pregnancies with the goal of minimizing the number of abortions in our local community through a compassionate presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, in both word and deed. While we count the number of clients who do or do not have abortion, this must not become this center’s definition of success. We are in an on-gong race. Furthermore, through education and outreach to both area churches and the local community, we aim to create an awareness that abortion compounds human need rather than resolves it. The CPC is a non-profit Christian agency that does not discriminate in offering its services free of charge.
